Our VSOC, built upon DoD CSSP practices, enables state and local government’s to proactively manage security challenges, thanks to our ability to track, correlate, and remediate security incidents, events, and risks faster, while avoiding unnecessary downtime. Employing highly qualified cybersecurity engineers and Information Assurance (IA) experts skilled in assessing, monitoring, and defending against more than 1 million vulnerabilities a year, NSSPlus draws on industry-leading information security/IT expertise, well-tuned tools, and first-hand experience gained on hundreds of critical missions, allowing clients to confidently operate/manage their IT assets at the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and availability without requiring significant upfront investments or time to establish and build the required processes.
VSOC Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
NSSPlus operates and maintains the VSOC, providing continuous vigilance in managing the various security assets for state and local government subscribers. The VSOC affords government personnel real-time insight into the security posture of IT infrastructure around the clock via a dedicated portal. The portal also provides access to a repository of best practices, lessons learned, and technical references.
The VSOC leverages battle-proven processes, providing service cohesion across all cybersecurity offerings. These processes ensure that events are handled consistently and according to best practices, providing subscribers with consistent processes that avoid costly downtime and damage to government reputations.
